The University Hospital Foundation, the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and the Alberta Cancer Foundation introduce:

The Campaign for Prostate Health

When facing prostate disease and prostate cancer, men undergo a lengthy process of testing, consultations, decision making and - finally - treatment.

Moving from testing to treatment can take eight months or more.

This needs to change. By working together, it will.

The University Hospital Foundation, the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and the Alberta Cancer Foundation are pleased to collaborate on a major fundraising campaign that will improve care and treatment for men facing prostate cancer and prostate disease.

Called It’s About Men. It’s About Time., this $26 million Campaign for Prostate Health will support research initiatives that move scientific discoveries to the bedside sooner, and support the development of programs to advance patient care and education.

Perhaps most vital, the campaign will help establish a Prostate Health Clinic that will coordinate rapid access to all prostate diagnostic and treatment services for men in central and northern Alberta.

Your support of the Campaign for Prostate Health will also ensure that the University of Alberta Hospital, the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute continue to advance the diagnosis, treatment and research of prostate disease and prostate cancer.

Help us bring new hope to the one in seven men who find themselves diagnosed with prostate cancer. Your support will mean these men will have access to the most advanced prostate care, faster.
